Shocking end of season

Season for European pears is coming to the end. Polish importers are selling last stocks and this fruit s becoming a product in short supply. Very low supplies influence prices which have been very high recently.

Just in one week prices of pears of Conference variety went up at 7% / kg and currently purchasers have to pay PLN 65.00 - 70.00 / 12 kg box.

We should be aware that before pears dissapear from the market prices will go up more.

Pears from southern hemisphere also got more expensive. Those of Williams variety from Argentina after the price increase at the level of 5% are now available at the price of PLN 55.00 - 57.00 / 10 kg.
