Price of Golden Delicious in Poland successively increases

The situation in the apple trade is changing from week to week. Only a month ago the demand for these fruits was negligible and the purchase prices were lower than industrial apples last season at the same time. The orchards' owners  were heartbroken and had no illusions that something would improve. And yet. November is a month of regular, successive price increases for individual varieties, including Golden Delicious. Only a month ago, for Golden Delicious apples of 70+ caliber from the cold store, prices oscillated between 0,12  - 0,14 EUR per kilogram. Currently, prices are on average 30 percent higher.

Currently, in the case of apples in caliber 70+ exporters pay between 0,17 and even 0,23 EUR per kilogram, with more and more companies offering 0,20 - 0,22 EUR/kg. For a smaller Golden Delicious you can get from 0,14 to even 0,175 EUR per kilogram. Companies buying ready-made apples pay for a palletized Golden Delicious prepared for shipment within the range of 0,23 - 0,28 EUR per kilogram (apples in caliber 70+).

There are also companies on the market that still buy Golden Delicious apples as industrial fruit for juices. And today for Golden Delicious apples you can get from 0,035 to 0,045 EUR per kilogram.
