Poland: Increasing demand for oyster mushroom

There are more and more buyers interested in oyster mushrooms. Polish consumers become convinced of their quality.

Demand is so high that producers don't have problems with sale. Taking into account stable prices and good situation on the market we can think that demand will be even higher.

At the beginning of spring prices of oyster mushrooms are quite high but they should drop in April and May.

Currently the wholesale price is at the level of 8.00 - 13.00 PLN/ kg or 2.50 - 3.50 PLN/ 250g package.
