What are the prices of cabbage on the Mazovian wholesale markets in Poland?

During the second to last week of November not much happened in terms of changes in the prices of cabbage on the wholesale markets of the Mazowiecki Region of Poland. After earlier increases, the upward trend in white cabbage prices weakened. Demand for white cabbage remains high, both in the fresh market and in the processing industry.

On the other hand, the price situation on the Chinese cabbage market has stabilised. So far, there is no improvement in weak demand and, consequently, there is no increase in prices. On the other hand, there is also no continuation of the earlier discount.

Recent days have brought some improvement in demand and prices of red cabbage. But it looks more like a correction than the beginning of a trend. Italian cabbage prices have also slightly improved. In this case, however, it only concerned good quality goods, because this is clearly lacking in the market.

Current prices of cabbage in the large wholesale in the Mazowiecki Region of Poland are the following:

- WRSRH "Bronisze" (wholesale):

white cabbage 0,28 - 0,30 EUR/kg, in a small wholesale up to 0,30 EUR/kg,

Chinese cabbage 0,28 - 0,30 EUR/kg (for sale), in small wholesale up to 0,51 EUR/kg,

red cabbage 0,26 - 0,28 EUR/kg, in a small wholesale up to 0,43 EUR/kg,

Italian cabbage 0,35 - 0,37 EUR/kg, in a small wholesale up to 0,58 EUR/kg,

- the area of Błonia:

white cabbage 0,26 - 0,28 EUR/kg

Chinese cabbage (with cardboard) 0,23 - 0,28 EUR/kg,

- the area of Otwock:

Chinese cabbage purchase 0,16 EUR/kg,

- the vicinity of Kozienice (purchase):

white cabbage 0,26 - 0,28 EUR/kg, for industry 0,21 - 0,23 EUR/kg,

red cabbage 0,23 - 0,25 EUR/kg,

- the vicinity of Sochaczew:

Chinese cabbage (with cardboard) 0,28 EUR/kg.
