„Meloman” cauliflower
Cauliflower “Meloman” is a summer variety and is picked at the turn of June and July. The period of vegetation comes up 75 days. This variety is characterized by high fertility and forms 1 kg roses which are covered with many leaves. Roses aren’t tend to get fluffy. It is a versatile variety intended for direct consumption as well as for processing.
“Meloman” has been grown by crossing varieties. Also modern growing techniques have been used in this process. They protect plants from self-pollination. Thanks to this technology it is possible to gain high efficiency in production of mixed seeds. Another advantage of that are much lower costs of seeds production.
The introduction of this variety grown by Polish company can rise its competitiveness on the seeds market. There is a chance to impose the long-standing domination of foreign varieties of cauliflowers as well as reduce the technology distance in growing varieties and seeds production.
