Beetroots are going down

Bigger quantities of beetroots appeared on the market during last days. Higher supply resulted in price decrease.

Cultivations of beetroots are not big enough to make the situation similar to that of young cabbages but high supply of beetroots resulted in price decrease from 0.45 – 0.52 EUR/kg (June, 26-27th) to about 0.30 EUR/kg on Wednesday, July 2nd.
