Big differences in prices of white cabbage

At the end of last week one could observe an interesting situation on the market of white cabbage. While in the center of Poland producer prices of white cabbage slight decreased and stabilized at the level of 0.70 – 0.75 PLN (0.17-0.19 €)/kg, in małopolskie province prices were still in upward trend.

In the south of the country the demand for white cabbage is still significantly larger than the supply and as a result prices are higher. On Friday, February 19, the producer price was there 1.00 – 1.10 PLN (0.25-0.27 €)/kg. One can expect further increase in prices.
