Big supply of mandarins

Before X-mas there are a lot of mandarins on the market. The reason is obvious – they are very popular among Polish consumers.

Mandarins are delivered mainly from Italy and Spain and their prices are very different. Generally Italian mandarins are cheaper, but also their quality is lower than Spanish ones. On Thursday, 18th December on the wholesale market in Bronisze prices of mandarins imported from Italy were from 0.43 – 0.60 euro/kg. Prices of Spanish mandarins, depend on size and the way of packaging, varied from 0.72 euro/kg (loose, size 4) to 0.96 euro/kg (layered, size 2).
