Decrease in prices of apricots and nectarines in Moscow

Last week prices of apricots and nectarines on the Moscow market decreased due to higher supply. At the beginning of last week price of apricots imported from Turkey decreased from 100-98 rubles (2.64-2.59 euros) to 88-90 rubles (1.33-2.38 euros) for kg, and later - to 75-80 rubles (1.98-2.11 euros).

Also price of nectarines from Spain declined. Reduction in price was associated with lower prices from suppliers and an increase of volumes in the market. The average price declined from 130-125 (2.44-3.30 euros) to 110-115 rubles (2.91-3.04 euros) per kg.
