Decrease in prices of Polish tomatoes

At the end of the last week it was noted further decrease in price of domestic tomatoes due to growing supply. Price fell to 74-80 PLN (18.23-19.70 euro)/6 kg while at the beginning of the week the minimum price was 100 PLN (24.63 euro)/kg. Polish tomatoes are still much more expensive than imported ones. However domestic tomatoes are in quite good demand because they have better appearance and taste than those imported from Spain.
