Decrease in prices of Spanish vegetables in Moscow

Last week on Moscow market of fresh fruit and vegetables experts noted decrease in prices of some vegetables imported from Spain. Traders wanted to sell remnants of aubergines from last supplies and they reduced prices from 80-85 rubles (1.92-2.04 euro) to 75-80 rubles (1.80-1.92 euro) per kg. The main reason for reduction in price of celery were changes in prices from suppliers and manufacturers. Prices fell from 45-50 rubles (1.08-1.20 euro) to 40-45 rubles (0.84-1.08 euro) per kg. Due to increasing supply on Russian and other European markets, price of Iceberg lettuce imported from Spain also decreased from 140-150 rubles (3.36-3.60 euro) to 130-140 rubles (3.12-3.36 euro) per kg.
