Domestic leeks are again on the market

The strength of the euro against the zloty caused that prices of leeks imported from EU are again higher than prices of Polish leeks.

At the moment there are quite a lot of domestic leeks on the market, especially in the central part of Poland, where on Friday, 6 February the price of leeks packed into bags was 2.20 – 2.50 PLN (0.48-0.55 euro)/kg. In the south of Poland price of leeks reached 3 – 3.50 PLN (0.66-0.77 euro)/kg.
