Domestic leeks in demand

There are still high demand for domestic leeks. In podlaskie province the purchase prices of leeks intended for the retail domestic market increased by 0.50 PLN (0.11 euro)/kg to about 3.50 PLN (0.75 euro)/kg compared to last week.

In małopolskie province the purchase prices increased by about 0.60 - 0.70 PLN (0.13-0.15 euro)/kg to about 3.80 - 4.00 PLN (0.81-0.85 euro)/kg. At the moment the purchase prices of leeks are higher by about 1.50 - 1.70 PLN (0.32-0.36 euro)/kg than last year.
