End of Polish aubergines

Season for domestic aubergines is almost finished. Due to unfavourable weather during last weeks the supply of this vegetable is very low at the moment.   Prices of domestic aubergines are 5.00-6.00 PLN (1.26-1.52 euro)/kg. It resulted in bigger deliveries of imported aubergines. On Friday, October 1, the price of this vegetable imported from Spain was 30-35 PLN (7.59-8.86 euro)/5 kg.
