EUR/PLN exchange rate unfavourable for cultivated mushrooms

This week processing plants in Wielkopolska province decreased purchase price of cultivated mushrooms. Price of mushrooms class A was 3.60 PLN/kg - by 0.10 PLN/kg less than last week.

Decline in prices is caused by high supply, lower demand and unfavourable EUR exchange rate weakening against PLN since the begging of May. Price of mushrooms class B was at level of 2.90 PLN/kg, class C and D 2.00 PLN/kg. Price of not classified mushrooms was 1.00 PLN/kg.
