Export of sweet pepper

Last days one could observe bigger export of Polish sweet pepper. Recipients from Russia and Lithuania started buying Polish red sweet pepper in big production area near Przytyk in mazowieckie province. The supply of pepper is relatively high at the moment and the bigger demand from eastern countries probably allows to maintain stable prices of pepper.

On Monday, August 23 the price of red sweet pepper was 3.30-3.50 PLN (0.82-0.87 €)/kg, the price of green one was 2.50 PLN (0.62 €)/kg and white – 2.60-2.70 PLN (0.65-0.67 €)/kg.
