For peeling, as a mousse or juice

Orchardists who still have a lot of fruits probably will be forced to sell as industrial apples. Only Idared is still in quite good quality.

The most profitable is selling industrial apples intended for peeling. However they should have good quality pulp. Only rind of fruit may have some symptoms of sickness. Apples intended for peeling now cost 0.85 – 1.00 PLN/kg depending on variety and size.

Apples intended for mousse are a bit cheaper but at the same time quality requirements are lower. Symptoms of mould are unacceptable. Processing plants pay for such apples 0.70 – 0.80 PLN/kg.

Apples not suitable for sell are purchased from 0.60 – 0.65 PLN/kg.
