Further decrease in onion’s prices

Lack of balance between supply and demand for onion caused further decrease in prices. On the Polish market there are a lot of Dutch onion delivered at low price – 0.80 PLN (0.20 euro)/kg including transport cost. As a result the price of good quality Polish onion 40/60 fell to 0.90-1.10 PLN (0.23-0.28 euro)/kg. At the end of season the supply of onion is sufficient causing low prices. Producers did not expect such situation.
