Good price of plums of good quality

This year crops of plums (104 thousand ton) are twice bigger than in 2007. However the last rains much worsened their quality.

Plums have a lot of cracks and processing plants buying plums for deep-freezing have difficulty with the purchase of fruit of good quality. This week in dolnośląskie province the price of plums for deep-freezing delivered to the plant is 0.50 – 0.59 EUR/kg, while last week price was 0.38 -0.44 EUR/kg.
