Great Britain pays the highest price for Polish onions

In 2007 among ten major export destinations of Polish onions the highest price was obtained in export to Great Britain (0.36 USD/kg).

In 2006 price was lower by 0.10 USD/kg. Biggest income (8.3 million USD) of onion export was obtained from Holland and the price in 2007 was 0.27 USD/kg i.e. higher by 0.04 USD/kg than in 2006. In 2007 Romania imported the most by volume i.e. 30.8 thousand tons but paid very low price of 0.09 USD/kg (the same as in 2006). Moldova paid even less i.e. 0.08 USD/kg however more than in 2006 (0.06 USD/kg).
