Growing supply of Chinese cabbage

Many producers of Chinese cabbage decided to start selling cabbages from cold stores. One can observe it in the whole country, in łódzkie and wielkopolskie provinces, as well as in south (Małopolska) and east (Lublin region).
Surge in supply of Chinese cabbage results in price reduction.

On Thursday, February 4, the price of cabbage packed into cartons went down to the level of 1.20 – 1.30 PLN (0.30-0.32 €)/kg, while at the beginning of the week 1.30 PLN (0.32 €)/kg was the lowest price and the prices locally reached 1.60 – 1.70 PLN (0.40-0.42 €)/kg.
