Headed cabbages: profitability of production much less than in 2007

In 2007 white headed cabbages was the hit of the season. Ones who then decided to plant them could be satisfied. In the middle of August of 2007 prices of white headed cabbages in purchasing centres ranged from 0.21 to 0.56 EUR/kg.

Perhaps such high level was one of the reasons, why this year situation is completely different. There is so much cabbages on the market that their prices are very low for months. On Monday, August 11th wholesale price of white headed cabbages was at the level of 0.06 - 0.09 EUR/kg.
