Heavy crop of strawberries of late-summer varieties

On wholesale markets there are large amounts of strawberries of late-summer varieties. In Poznań wholesale prices of strawberries class extra, in containers 2 kg are about 1.20 EUR/kg.

In Elbląg prices of strawberries are higher - about 1.80 EUR/kg. The trade in strawberries of late-summer varieties has been developing dynamically for the last few years and apart from supplying the domestic market more and more these strawberries are intended for export.
