High price of rhubarb

This week prices of rhubarb slightly decreased and current price is lower by 0.01 EUR/kg in comparison with that of last week. However average purchase price of rhubarb to be supplied fresh to the consumer (not for processing) is high in relation to price of last year.

This week price is 0.44 EUR/kg – by almost 0.18 EUR/kg more than last year. Lowest price about 0.29 EUR/kg was in Małopolskie province in the area of Nowy Sącz and in Podkarpackie province in the area of Krosno. Highest price even 0.82 EUR/kg was in Podlaskie province.
