High prices of imported lettuces

Prices of Iceberg lettuce and curled leaved lettuces much increased last days. On Thursday, November 4, on the Warsaw wholesale market in Bronisze price of Iceberg lettuce imported from Spain was 44-45 PLN (11.20-11.45 euro)/10 pcs. Price of Lollo bionda and rossa was 45 PLN (11.45 euro)/12 pcs. Price of romaine lettuce was 50 PLN (12.72 euro)/10 pcs, oak leaves lettuce – 60 PLN (15.27 euro)/12 pcs, endives and radicchio imported from Italy – 60 PLN (15.27 euro)/12 pcs. and 4.50 PLN (1.14 euro)/pcs. respectively.
