High prices of leeks

The price of domestic leeks reached such level that import of this vegetable can be profitable, especially if trading companies order big deliveries. At the moment on the Polish market there are available leeks imported from Belgium. However in close future one can expect deliveries from Turkey. The price of domestic leeks is 3.00-4.00 PLN (0.76-1.01 euro)/kg. Price of imported product is from 4.00 PLN (1.01 euro)/kg.
