High prices of red onion

The supply of red onion is very low and its price is high. Bigger supply and lower prices are expected only in autumn.  At the moment wholesale prices of red onion are 3.00 – 4.00 PLN (0.75 – 1.00 €)/kg. It is difficult to find producers who can offer bigger lots of red onion.
