Higher import of pepper

According to the latest data of Analytical Centre of Customs Administration(CAAC) during the period from January to September this year Poland imported more pepper than in the same period of 2007.

The import of fresh pepper amounted to 19.7 thousand t and its value 31.6 m euro. The import of pepper was higher by about 3 thousand t and its value by about 5 million euro. Over 60 % of pepper were imported from Spain, and about 30 % pepper from the Netherlands.
