Higher price of peas

Processing plants started purchasing of peas. Price of first deliveries of peas was higher than last year. In podkarpackie province price of peas delivered to the plant is 0.28 – 0.29 EUR/kg depending on hardness.

Price includes cost of threshing for which producers must pay. In 2007 average price was 0.27 EUR/kg. In pomorskie province price of peas delivered to the plant is 0.22 EUR/kg while last year average price was 0.20 EUR/kg.
