Iceberg lettuce still expensive

Prices of imported Iceberg lettuce have been high for a few weeks. The price of Icebreg lettuce imported from Spain increased once again week-on-week from 45 (11.30) to 48 PLN (12.00 €)/10 pcs on Thursday, February 25.

High prices influence the demand. Retailers already limited the supply of Iceberg lettuce worrying that prices are too high for consumers. As a result it is difficult to buy Iceberg lettuce, especially good quality one, both in small shops as well as in hypermarkets.
