Import of lemons

Between 1 and 7 January 2009 7.5 thousand t of lemons from Spain and about 3 thousand t of lemons from Italy was delivered to Poland.

Since the beginning of the year the price of lemons from Spain is stable at the level 36 PLN (8.67 euro)/10 kg. The price of lemons from Italy fluctuates from 28 to 33 PLN (6.75-7.95 euro)/10 kg. On the Polish market also Greek lemons are available and their price is about 32 PLN (7.71 euro)/10 kg.
