Imported asparagus less expensive

At the wholesale market in Poznań Polish and imported asparagus are sold. Wholesale price of Polish white asparagus (packed in 0,5 kg bundle) is 20-22 PLN/kg.

Price of asparagus imported mainly from Germany and Holland is 11.00-13.50 PLN/kg. Presently in Germany there is the top of the asparagus season and prices are decreasing by several percentage during a week.
