Imported berries are getting more expensive

Prices of imported berries are increasing every week. The most expensive are highbush blueberries imported from Spain the price of which has risen at about 40% during two weeks. Recently also prices of Spanish raspberries increased but only at 8%.

Currently highbush blueberries imported from Spain cost from 10.00 to 11.00 PLN/ 125 grams (88.00 – 108.00 PLN/kg). Blueberries imported from Chile are being sold at a similar price.

Spanish raspberries are being offered at the price 20.00 – 22.00 PLN/125 g (160.00 -176.00 PLN/kg) depending on seller.

The price of Dutch blackberries is 16.00 – 18.00 PLN/ 175 g (91.43 – 102.85 PLN/kg), and redcurrant cost from 15.00 to 17.00 PLN/ 175 g (85.71 – 97.14 PLN/kg).
