Increase in cauliflowers prices

First cold nights with temperatures below zero influenced the harvest of cauliflowers. The supply of this vegetable is decreasing and prices started growing.

On Tuesday, October 12 the purchase price of cauliflowers was 1.20-1.40 PLN (0.30-0.35 euro)/pcs. (in małopolskie, świętokrzyskie and łódzkie provinces) and 1.60 PLN/pcs. In mazowieckie and lubelskie provinces. The selling price of cauliflowers increased by 0.20 PLN (0.05 euro)/pcs. to 1.60-1.90 PLN (0.40-0.48 euro)/pcs. week-on-week.
