Increase in prices of greenhouse cucumbers

In podlaskie province purchase prices of greenhouse cucumbers are 1.03 – 1.08 EUR/kg (1st class, in boxes of 5 kg). Prices are increasing much in the whole country.

From last week prices rose by 0.09 – 0.15 EUR/kg. The low temperature during nights and less sunlight cause lowering of cucumbers growth and in consequence lower supply and rise in prices. The lowest purchase prices of greenhouse cucumbers 0.59 – 0.76 EUR/kg (1st class, in boxes of 5 kg) are in podkarpackie province.
