Increase of price of domestic tomatoes

On Monday, August 18th prices of domestic tomatoes increased. On Monday minimum prices of tomatoes were 3.00 – 3.30/box of 6 kg while on Sunday price was still about 2.34 EUR/box of 6 kg.

This increase was quite unexpected and it can be a result of smaller supply of tomatoes. It will turn out whether this is a longer upward trend or just only a momentary price increase.
