Italian mandarins cheaper than Spanish ones

Together with approaching of Christmas more and more citrus fruit is appearing on the Polish market. Mandarins which are very popular in Poland are imported mainly from Spain and Italy.

At the moment the second ones are cheaper and of course are more popular in the wholesale trade. On Friday, 5th December in surroundings of Warsaw the price of mandarins size 3 imported from Italy was 6.72 euro/10 kg and the price of mandarins of the same size imported from Spain was from 7,23 to 9.04 euro/10 kg. One can buy Italian mandarins size 4 from 5.43 euro/10 kg.
