Low demand for eating apples

The present high supply of eating apples doesn’t meet the appropriate demand, especially from the eastern countries.

On Wednesday, October 15th the prices (without the packaging) of eating apples of 7+ calibre started from the level of 0.14 EUR/kg. The prices of varieties more wanted by recipients (e.g. Gala) reached 0.23 EUR/kg. Will a small demand for apples have the influence on further declines in prices?
