Low prices of cabbage

In łodzkie and małopolskie provinces in export companies the purchase price of white headed cabbage is 0.056-0.062 euro/kg (1 class, in bags of 25 kg) and is lower by 5 percent compared with last week.

In the same period of last year the purchase price of white cabbage intended for export was 0.098-0.112 euro/kg. For producers of cabbage the price situation is very adverse and comparable with the season 2002/2003 when the average purchase price of cabbage was 0.067 euro/kg.
