Low prices of leeks

Additionally quality of Polish leeks is poor. The current producer price of leeks is 0.80-1.00 PLN (0.18-0.23 euro)/kg. As a result a lot of producers do not want to sell their product at the moment and on the market there are significant supply of leeks imported from Holland. Price of imported leeks is 1.30-1.50 PLN (0.30-0.35 euro)/kg.
