Lower demand for white cabbage

In central Poland (mazowieckie and łódzkie provinces) one can see a clear slowdown in the wholesale trade in white cabbage. Although the supply did not increased, the demand for cabbage is much smaller than even in the middle of February. As a result prices also decreased.

On Friday, February 26, the producer price of white cabbage in central Poland was from 0.60 PLN (0.15 €)/kg to 0.80 PLN (0.20 €)/kg (higher prices were in mazowieckie province).
