Lower export of frozen strawberries

According to Polish Analytical Centre of Customs Administration (CAAC) between January and November 2008 Poland exported 74.2 thousand t of frozen strawberries at value 100.9 million euro.

It was less than in 2007 when in corresponding period export of frozen strawberries amounted to 99.5 thousand t at value 122 million euro. However export prices of frozen strawberries increased. Average export price in the period January -November 2007 was 1.25 euro/kg and in 2008 – 1.38 euro/kg.
