Lower prices of imported pepper

Time before Easter as well as first days after holiday didn’t bring changes in prices of pepper imported from Spain. The price of red pepper was 38.00 – 40.00 PLN/ 5kg carton, yellow – 33.00 – 35.00 PLN/ 5 kg carton.  Green pepper was more expensive  - 50.00 PLN/ 5 kg carton.

Last days on Polish market brought falling prices of pepper imported from Spain. Red and yellow pepper cost 30.00 PLN/ 5 kg carton, and the green one – 35.00 PLN/ 5 kg carton.

While prices on the Polish market are decreasing the Dutch market noticed higher prices of domestic pepper. During last three days the prices of red pepper rose at about 2 – 3 EUR / 5 kg carton. The price of yellow pepper also increased and now it is 10 – 10.50 EUR/ 5kg carton. Green pepper is cheaper and cost 6.50 – 7.00 EUR/ 5kg carton.
