Lower prices of pears intended for export

In mazowieckie province the purchase price of pears of the variety Favorite of 1st class and size 70+ is 0.45 EUR/kg (packed into boxes of 6 kg).

In comparison with last week the price lowered by 9 percent. The purchase price of the same variety of 1st class and size 65+ was 0.37 EUR/kg. In comparison with last year, when production of pears was very low and prices were very high, this year's purchase prices are lower by about 30 percent.
