Lower prices of tomatoes

The demand for tomatoes is still rather low. However at the beginning of the year one can observe bigger movement on the market also due to lower prices. On Monday, January 3 the price of Spanish tomatoes from latest deliveries was 30-32 PLN (7.57-8.08 euro)/6 kg. But it was possible to buy tomatoes from earlier deliveries at price even from 22 PLN (5.55 euro)/6 kg. At the moment the highest price of tomatoes is much lower than in December when their price reached even 46 PLN (11.62 euro)/box.
