More apples, lower prices

On the market there are more and more apples of different varieties. Because of higher supply purchase prices of dessert apples have been decreasing. Last week in łódzkie province average purchase price of apples was 0.50 EUR/kg and this week price has decreased to 0.43 EUR/kg.

Last week in Tarnobrzeg (podkarpackie province) prices were fluctuating from 0.24 to 0.45 EUR/kg and now prices are 0.18 – 0.39 EUR/kg. In podlaskie province purchase price decreased from 0.48 to 0.36 EUR/kg. Average purchase price of variety Delikates was 0.34 EUR/kg. Last year at the same time average purchase price of apples was 0.63 EUR/kg.
