Participants of the Moscow market noted the increasing of prices of lemon from Spain from 45 (1,16 EUR) to 53 rubles (1,37 EUR) per kg. The main reason for rising prices, experts say, was a change of the exporting country, supplying the product to the market. At the same time Turkish products on the market in limited quantities, and specialists noted its poor quality.

As for vegetables, the price of the eggplant from Holland and Belgium decreased. Earlier, the price for this product rose to 95 rubles (2,46 EUR) per kg due to lack of quality goods on the market. Last week, according to specialists, the situation has stabilized, and the price returned to its previous level - 78 rubles (2,02 EUR) per kg.

In the second half of the week the price of eggplants from the Netherlands and Belgium continued to decrease. Total price decreased from 78 (2,02 EUR) to 75 rubles (1,94 EUR) per kg. At the end of the week experts also noted the reduction in the cost of color and red peppers from Holland and Belgium. This was explained by the fact that the goods are gradually becoming more in Moscow. In general, the price of pepper declined from 190 (4,91 EUR) to 170 rubles (4,40 EUR) per kg, color - from 170 (4,40 EUR) to 130 rubles (3,36 EUR) per kg.

Also, providers reported an increase in the price of carrots that came from Israel. In their view, this is a temporary phenomenon, and was associated with shortages of goods on the market. Price per washed carrots increased from 27 (0,70 EUR) to 30 rubles (0,78 EUR) per kg. It was also noted a new trend - growth of prices for celery root from Israel. The main reason for price rise, according to experts, was the shortage of delivered goods in the capital. Price increased from 72 (1,86 EUR) to 90 rubles (2,33 EUR) per kg.

At the Moscow market of fresh fruits and vegetables on a test week the price situation in the segment of imported tomato was unstable, which, according to experts, was caused by temporary changes in supply and demand. The price of Turkish tomato decreased from 70 (1,81 EUR) to 60 rubles (1,55 EUR) per kg, tomato-plum from the Netherlands and Belgium, a good quality - with 115 (2,97 EUR) to 110 rubles (2,84 EUR) per kg. The price of cherry tomatoes from Holland, Israel, on the contrary, increased from 130 (3,36 EUR) to 140 rubles (3,62 EUR) per kg.

By the end of the week experts also noted the instability of prices for tomatoes from Holland, which was due to changes in the supply and demand. At that time, the price of tomato Beef rose from 75 (1,94 EUR) to 90 rubles (2,33 EUR) per kg, tomato-plum (not the best quality) - from 80 (2,07 EUR) to 85 rubles (2,2 EUR) per kg. The price of tomato varieties Bunch, by contrast, decreased from 85 (2,20 EUR) to 65 rubles (1,68 EUR) per kg.

Members of the market also noted the decrease of prices of garlic imported from China. In the second half of the week price decreased from 125 (3,23 EUR) to 120 rubles (3,10 EUR) per kg, which was due to the increased supply.

Also by the end of the week market participants noted lower prices for Chinese cabbage from Holland, which is almost replaced the product from Poland on the market. Due to the fact that deliveries of the product increased, its price has fallen from 100 (2,58 EUR) to 90 rubles (2,33 EUR) per kg.

However, the price of the young cabbage from Iran rose by the end of last week. This phenomenon was temporary and related to reduction of this goods in the market. Price per kilo rose from 28 (0,72 EUR) to 34 rubles (0,88 EUR).
