The past week started with the regular changes in prices of citrus fruits and on the Moscow market. The price of lemons from Turkey increased from 32 (0,81 EUR) to 36 rubles (0,91 EUR) per kg, Mandarin from Pakistan - from 40 (1,01 EUR) to 45 rubles (1,14 EUR) per kg. The main factors that influenced on the growth of prices is to reduction of the harvest and awaited holiday. At the same time with 33 (0,83 EUR) to 28 rubles (0,71 EUR) per kg reduced the starting price for grapefruit from Turkey, which was due to an increase in the number of offerings on the market.

At the beginning of a test week on the markets of fresh fruits and vegetables was also a reduction in the prices of garnet from Turkey. Experts noted that the phenomenon was temporary, and bound him with plenty of offers on the market.
At that time, the price of pomegranate set at 85 rubles (2,15 EUR) per kg, which is 10 rubles (0,25 EUR) less than it was previously.

Last week again raised the price of kiwifruit. In addition to the upward trend of prices in connection with the approach of Easter, experts link this phenomenon with a decrease in the volume of deliveries of goods to Moscow. Total price for the kiwi from Greece increased from 55 (1,39 EUR) to 60 rubles (1,51 EUR) per kg for kiwifruit in baskets from Italy - 60 (1,51 EUR) to 70 rubles (1,77 EUR) per kg.

Last week market participants noted decrease in the price of mangoes from Brazil. According to experts, the tendency to reduce the cost of the product was due to increased supply and lower prices for products from suppliers. In general for a few days the price of mangoes has decreased from 135 (3.41 EUR) to 125 rubles (3,15 EUR) per kg.

Also in Moscow, experts noted that prices for white seedless grapes from South America (Peru, Argentina) increased from 75 (1,89 EUR) to 83 rubles (2,09 EUR) per kg. At the end of the week upward trend in prices for white grapes continued, as the volume of supply of the product on the market decreased. Total price for this product has already grown to 95 rubles (2,40 EUR) per kg. It is worth noting that the price of black and red grapes from South Africa fell slightly: the red - from 95 (2,40 EUR) to 90 rubles (2,27 EUR) per kg, black - from 100 (2,52 EUR) to 95 rubles (2,40 EUR) per kg.

At the end of the week there was a decrease in prices for imported apples and pears. Experts attribute this phenomenon to increase harvests of fruits in China. At that time, the price of Fuji apple variety from China down from 55 (1,39 EUR) to 53 rubles (1,34 EUR) per kg, a pear from China - from 35 (0,88 EUR) to 32 rubles (0, 81 EUR) per kg. Following the Chinese products pear varieties Meeting of Holland and Belgium fell in price from 45 (1,14 EUR) to 43 rubles (1,09 EUR) per kg.

On the market on a test week in connection with the advancing church holidays continued the increase of the price of tomato. Goods from Turkey has risen in price from 60 (1,51 EUR) to 65 rubles (1,64 EUR) per kg, tomato on a branch of Turkey and Israel - from 85 (2,15 EUR) to 95 rubles (2,40 EUR) for the kg, tomato-cream from the Netherlands - from 115 (2,90 EUR) to 135 rubles (3.41 EUR) per kg.

In the first half of the week has also continued the increase of the price of cucumber. The main reasons for price rise, according to experts, is the expectation of growth in demand before the holidays and a small reduction in supply. Price of Russian short cucumber grew from 105 (2,65 EUR) to 115 rubles (2.90 EUR) per kg for cucumber varieties TAA - from 85 (2,15 EUR) to 100 rubles (2,52 EUR) per kg on smooth cucumber, imported goods from Iran - from 52 (1,31 EUR) to 62 rubles (1,56 EUR) per kg.

Also prices of pepper, imported from Israel, were unstable. Thus, the price of color pepper decreased in connection with the receipt of large quantities of the product on the market and the price of red pepper, in contrast, grew slightly because of increased demand. In general, the price of the yellow and orange peppers decreased from 125 (3,15 EUR) to 110 rubles (2,78 EUR) per kilo, the price of pepper has increased from 75 (1,89 EUR) to 82 rubles (2,07 EUR) per kg.

By the end of the week experts in Moscow said that the market price of different onion varieties changed. In connection with new supplies decreased slightly the price of onions from Holland – from 22 (0,56 EUR) to 20 rubles (0,51 EUR) per kg. Despite the deterioration of the quality characteristics, the price of white onions from Italy increased from 40 (1,01 EUR) to 65 rubles (1,64 EUR) per kg, due to shortages of goods on the market.

It was also noted a significant reduction in prices on the young cabbage from Iran on the market because of the receipt of large quantities of the product on the market. This product enjoyed good demand in Moscow. Price it decreased from 36 (0,91 EUR) to 22 (0,56 EUR) rubles per kg. The price of young potatoes from Egypt also decreased. The slight decrease experts explained cheapening the product provider. At that time the price has dropped from 25 (0,63 EUR) to 22 rubles (0,56 EUR) per kg.
