Moscow: increase in prices of apples from Poland

In general, after a long holiday at the Moscow fruit and vegetable market, it is worth noting declining in product prices, which grew in the end of last year. However, significantly rise in prices of apples imported from Poland due to huge demand from Russian consumers. While before Christmas holidays the price of this product was relatively stable at 25-29 rubles (0.62-0.72 euro) per kg, last week the price of Polish apples was 40-45 rubles (1.00-1.12 euro) per kg.

Apples from other export countries (France, Holland, etc.) are much more expensive, their prices are about 60-65 rubles (1.50-1.62 euro) per kg.
