Moscow: increase in prices of cucumbers

In Moscow the supply of domestic cucumbers is decreasing and the supply of imported ones is insufficient. Shortage of cucumbers results in higher prices.

Prices of domestic short cucumbers grew from 45-50 rubles (1.08-1.20 euro) to 47-55 rubles (1.13-1.32 euro) per kg. Prices of cucumbers imported from Iran increased from 37-43 rubles (0.89 - 1.03 euro) to 42-47 rubles (1.01-1.13 euro) per kg.
